Yuexiou Park, Guangzhou


The legend of the five goats. This is my last China sketch, done in just 30 minutes. The legend goes that way: t is said that in ancient Guangzhou, there was a time when the draught succeeded many years. The foods were in extremely shortage and people struggled in starvation. One day, suddenly a holy melody spread in the air and a five-color cloud drifted in the sky from the South China Sea. Then five gods, who were wearing five different color clothes and rode five different color goats, appeared with the cloud, each one holding a wheat with six stalks. They gave the five wheats to the people, left the five goats, and they left by the clouds. People spread the grains to the ground. From then on, Guangzhou had regular winds and rains and rich harvests, and the five god goats became stone goats stood on the hill. This is how the nicknames of Guangzhou come

Ornamental Pavilion in Tianhe Park

Ornamental Pavilion in Tianhe Park: There were two Chinese art students with their oil painting canvas when I arrived, everybody was comparing my style. I couldnt finish the drawing there because the sun, I took a picture and I added the colors in a restaurant. Banana trees and palm trees surrounded the whole building.
